Olympics and Other Fun

We have a busy week coming up. Monday and Tuesday at Co-op we are having Olympic Days. The students are going to learn about the Olympics, China, have their own mini Olympics, make crafts, sample Chinese food and even have a closing ceremony. It is going to be a lot of fun. Then Tuesday night I have our monthly Mom' s meeting to go to.

Aaron's brother Joel and his family from Indianapolis are coming in Monday for a visit. We have seen Joel and Sabrina recently, but we have not seen their kids in forever. Caleb and Luke are very excited to play with Chase, Brianna, and Noah. On Wednesday the whole family is going to go to Galveston for the day. We thought we had made our last trip to the beach this summer, so we are excited to go one more time before school starts.

Speaking of school, August 18th is our first day of Co-op. We will start school at home the next day. I am waiting on Caleb's math books to come in the mail, I think everything else is ready.

I know we are going to have a fun week. Hope you have a great one, too!

You guys do the coolest things at your school. What a great idea to have Olympics and to learn about China as well. I am impressed.

Tell Joel and Sabrina we said hello. Please, please post a picture of them and their family. We would love to see it.
