Bad Hair Day

The boys have swimming lessons all week at 8 a.m. Today I was running behind and I did not have a chance to put on make-up or do anything with my hair. I usually always put on make-up when I leave the house. After swimming lessons we went to the library. As part of their summer reading program the art museum came and they had an art class. A photographer was there from the newspaper and took pictures of me and the boys during the art class. After, she asked for our names and asked me a few questions to use in an article. The one day I go out of the house without make-up I get my picture taken for the paper!!! I will update and let you know if we actually make it in the paper.

Lego Day

A new Lego store opened up in Houston. We of course had to go. Caleb and Luke love Legos and will spend hours building different things. They each picked out some Legos from the store. They also got to help a Master Builder work on an eight-foot tall Yoda. Luke built his Coast Guard Lego vehicles all by himself.

So Cute!

Luke loves to eat at Fuddruckers (because of the games and playground). Whenever we are trying to decide where to eat Luke will say, "Let's go to FuddCrackers!". It cracks us up.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

A friend of ours offered us four baseball tickets to see the Astros play the Yankees. These were really good tickets, 24 rows back from first base. The last time we went to an Astros game we were probably 24 rows from the top. We had a great time (even though the Astros lost and there were some obnoxious Yankees fans). The gift of the tickets was a huge blessing to us. We try to watch our spending and four $50 baseball tickets just did not make the budget. But my Father in heaven knows what we need and knows the special things that will be a blessing to us. So thanks to God and our friend we had a great night at the ballgame!
